Our company offers legal services in obtaining a residence permit in Georgia. The lawyers of our company will represent you in the State Services Development Agency of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia to obtain any type of residence permit provided for by the legislation of Georgia.
Our company offers services for obtaining the following types of residence permits provided for by Georgian legislation:
Labor residence certificate – which is issued to carry out entrepreneurial or labor activities in Georgia;
Study residence permit – which is issued for the purpose of studying at an authorized educational institution in Georgia;
Short-term residence permit – a short-term residence permit is issued to a foreigner who, in the territory of Georgia, according to the procedure established by the legislation of Georgia, has ownership rights to an immovable property (except for agricultural land), the market value of which exceeds the equivalent of 100,000 US dollars in GEL, and to his family members. In order to issue a short-term residence permit, the market value of the real estate is determined by the certified appraiser of the legal entity under public law – the unified national accreditation body – the body accredited by the accreditation center;
Investment residence permit – investment residence permit, which is issued to a foreigner and a member of his family who, in accordance with the Law of Georgia “On Promotion and Guarantees of Investment Activities”, has invested at least 300,000 US dollars in the equivalent amount in GEL, or who has in the territory of Georgia, according to the procedure established by the legislation of Georgia Ownership rights to immovable property (except for agricultural land), the market value of which exceeds the equivalent of 300,000 US dollars in GEL. For the purposes of this sub-clause, the foreigner’s spouse, minor child and his dependent or disabled person, as well as the dependent of the foreigner, who is known to be incapacitated in accordance with the legislation of the relevant country, are considered as family members;
Residence permit for the purpose of family reunification – which is issued to the family members of a foreigner with a residence permit;
Residence permit of a former citizen of Georgia – residence permit of a former citizen of Georgia, which is issued to a foreigner whose Georgian citizenship has been terminated;
Permanent residence permit – permanent residence permit issued to the spouse, parent, child of a citizen of Georgia. A permanent residence permit is also issued to a foreigner who has lived in Georgia on the basis of a temporary residence permit for the last 6 years. This term does not include the period of living in Georgia for study or treatment and working in diplomatic and equivalent representations;
